This group of enzymes break down protein into smaller or particular amino acids. Obtained from the pineapple fruit, Bromelain splits peptide bonds formed by the amino acids lysine, alanine, tyrosine and glycine Papain is derived from the tropical fruit papaya, which is a member of the melon family. Papain splits polypeptides, particularly between the bonds of arginine, phenylalanine and lysine.

Probiotic Blends

Recommended Dosage

For maximum systemic benefit: Take one capsule of GI Proenzyme Synbiotic on an empty stomach at least 30 minutes before breakfast and one capsule 2 hours after last meal.

For maximum digestive support: Take one capsule of GI Proenzyme Synbiotic with meal twice a day.

Contraindications

GI Proenzyme Synbiotic contain proteolytic enzymes that breaks down fibrin, which may interfere with prescription blood thinners. Though they can be taken together, it is recommended to consume GI Proenzyme Synbiotic and prescription blood thinners about four hours apart. (Please seek a physician’s advice before incorporating a new supplement into your health regime). Not recommended for those who are allergic to pineapple and papaya, and may not be suitable for pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers.
